By way of the instant petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of direction to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patiala House Courts to decide all pending applications in proceedings arising out of FIR bearing no. 175/2021, registered at Police Station E.O.W., positively on the next date of hearing i.e. on 08.12.2025, in Criminal Case no. 2918/2024 titled 'State v. Amit Khaneja'. 7.

Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State. 8.

The Trial Court Record reveals that on 08.09.2025 i.e. the last date of hearing before the learned Trial Court, the learned Trial Court itself mentioned that the matter be listed for arguments on all the pending applications on 08.12.2025. It is noted that the lawyers were abstaining from the work on the last date of hearing before the learned Trial Court, and therefore, no adverse orders were passed. It is also noted that the learned counsel for the complainant was not present before the learned Trial Court on the said date. Therefore, this Court takes note of the fact that the matter was listed for arguments on all pending applications for 08.12.2025. 9.

In these circumstances, it is directed that the learned Trial Court will ensure that the applications are decided expeditiously without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties on the future dates of hearing.

10.

In view of above, the present petition stands disposed of. 11.
