This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR no. 442/2024 registered at PS Alipur, Delhi under Sections 281/125 BNS, based on settlement arrived at between the parties dated 25th October 2024, which is on record of this Court.

Petitioner and respondent no.2 are present in Court and are duly identified by IO.

As per the settlement, outstanding balance of 3.5 lakhs is being paid today vide DD no.501779 drawn on ICICI Bank dated 5th November 2024. The same has been handed over to respondent no.2 who has duly received it The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. in Court, who states that he has no objection to quashing of FIR, and he has entered into this settlement out of his own free will and without any coercion.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR no. 442/2024 registered at PS Alipur, Delhi under Sections 281/25 BNS and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 6.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending application is disposed of as infructuous.
