This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking setting aside of dismissal order dated 30.12.2002 by which the Petitioner was dismissed from service w.e.f. 28.09.2002 on the basis of conviction for the offences under Sections 452/147/148/149/302 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 vide FIR No.379/1996 registered at PS: Narela. Petitioner's grievance is that the conviction has been set aside and the representation made by him is undecided till date.

This writ petition is disposed of at this stage without entering into merits of the case with a direction to the Respondents to take a decision on the undated representation made by the Petitioner (annexed as Annexure P11 to the writ petition), within a period of six weeks from today. In case the decision of the Respondents is not in favour of the Petitioner, a reasoned and speaking order shall be passed, which shall be communicated within one week to the Petitioner, who will be at liberty to take recourse to legal remedies in accordance with law, in case of any surviving grievance. 7.
