This writ petition is directed against an order dated 08.08.2024, passed by the Judicial Committee, which was constituted by the Supreme Court by order dated 13.09.2022 in W.P.(C) 4677/1985 [M.C. Mehta vs. Union of India&Ors.]. In view of the fact that the said order also provides that a challenge to the order of the Judicial Committee would lie before the Supreme Court, Mr. Mohit Bedi, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to take appropriate remedies against impugned order.

The writ petition, alongwith pending application, is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.
