This is a writ petition for release of the petition on parole for a period of eight weeks.

This is the second round of writ petition filed by the petitioner for release on parole. In the first round in W.P.(Crl) 2881/2025, this Court, vide order dated 10.09.2025 directed the respondent to decide the parole application of the petitioner within a period of two weeks. Learned ASC appearing for the State submits that the parole application of the petitioner has since been dismissed by the competent authority vide order dated 18.09.2025. Copy of the order is given to learned counsel for the petitioner.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file separate petition challenging the rejection order.

The statement made by learned counsel is taken on record and the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
