Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

By instituting the proceedings of this Public Interest Litigation Petition, a prayer has been sought to take appropriate action against alleged illegal unauthorized construction being carried out at Khasra No. 365, Village Sultanpur, nearby Maharaj Singh Complex Delhi-110030. For redressal of the grievances, the petitioner has already made a complaint on 24.07.2025 with the Executive Engineer (Building), South Zone, South Delhi Municipal Corporation which has been enclosed as Annexure A-3 to the writ petition. 3.

Learned counsel representing the respondent-Corporation, on instructions, has stated that earlier, certain action against the property in question was initiated and in December, 2023 certain demolition was also undertaken. However, from the complaint/representation dated 24.07.2025, it appears that certain construction is again coming up. 4.

He has further stated that the complaint/representation dated 24.07.2025 shall be processed and appropriate action, which may be warranted under law, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. shall be taken by the authority concerned.

In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of this writ petition with the direction to the appropriate authority of the respondent-Corporation to consider and take decision on the complaint/representation dated 24.07.2025, which is said to have been preferred by the petitioner as Annexure A-3 to the instant writ petition, with expedition. We further direct that action which may be warranted under law shall also be taken once decision on the said representation is taken by the appropriate authority of the corporation. 6.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 7.

We, however provide that if any action is to be taken against the persons said to be in illegal encroachment/possession/construction, such party shall be given adequate opportunity of hearing as well. 8.

Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
