The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner, i.e., the Delhi Cantonment Board, against the respondent-Jitender Singh Panesar, on the ground of willful disobedience and non-compliance of the order dated 03rd June, 2021 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 5762/2021, wherein, this Court had directed to maintain status quo concerning the nature and title of the concerned property.

Pursuant to the orders passed on the last date of hearing, respondent is present through Video Conferencing ("VC"). Further, the third parties, who had purchased the property in question, are also present in Court. 3.

Considering the fact that the sale deed had been executed by the respondent in favour of third parties, despite the status quo order having been passed by this Court, the sale deed executed by the respondent, i.e., The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Jitender Singh Panesar in favour of the third parties, is hereby cancelled. 4.

A copy of this order shall be sent to the Sub-Registrar, Sub District No. VII A, Sarojini Nagar, for noting the fact of cancellation of the sale deed, in terms of today's order.

Needless to state, since the sale deed in question has been cancelled, the amount of consideration, as given by the third parties to Mr. Jitender Singh Panesar, shall be duly returned.

With the aforesaid directions, the present contempt petition is accordingly disposed of.
