By virtue of the present petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of appropriate directions to the learned Judge, Family Court, North-West District, Rohini Courts, Delhi, to hear and dispose of an interim maintenance application filed on behalf of the petitioner under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, in HMA No. 1275/2025 titled "Smt Shilpa Sood v. Sanjeev Sood", within a specified time-frame as deemed fit by this Hon'ble Court, in accordance with the directions laid down by this Hon'ble Court in "Smt. K . S. Sumi Mol v. Suresh Kumar E. K." in MAT.APP. (F.C.) 127 /2023.

In a nutshell, the case of the petitioner is that the petitioner being 47 years old living with her parents is facing physical and financial difficulties which have constrained her to file the present petition. 3.

Considering what is expressly stated in the impugned order dated 21.07.2025 i.e. ".... Heard and perused. No ground is made out. this court is having pendency of approximately 4000 matrimonial cases of various nature, Hence, the application is dismissed.", this Court does not see any reason for giving the directions sought by the petitioner herein. 4.

Accordingly, the present petition alongwith the pending application are dismissed.

In any event, since the nature of the proceedings are pertaining to a matrimonial dispute affecting the life and interest of the parties and their two daughters born out of the wedlock, the learned Judge, Family Court, North-West District, Rohini Courts, Delhi, subject to the pendency of the cases before him, is requested to expedite the hearing in HMA No. 1275/2025 and make all efforts to dispose of the same as early as possible in accordance with law. Also, the parties are asked for not seeking unnecessary adjournments before the proceedings in HMA No. 1275/2025.
