O R D E R

The present petition filed under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter 'the A&C Act') seeks extension of time for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award. 2.
The learned Sole Arbitrator was appointed by this Court vide order dated 06.10.2022 in ARB.P.281/2022. The arbitral proceedings are stated to be at the stage of cross examination of the respondent. 3.
The initial 12 month period for completing arbitration proceedings lapsed on 20.02.2024. With mutual consent, the Arbitral Tribunal extended the time limit by six months under Section 29A(4) of the A&C Act. This extended period expired on 20.09.2024. The Petitioner now seeks a further six-month extension to complete the arbitration proceedings. 4.
The respondent has no objection to the said extension. 5.
In the circumstances the time for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award is extended till 30.06.2025. 6.
