of the Delhi School Tribunal dated 12.08.2024, in an employee's appeal against retrenchment.

Both the petitioners - the School and the concerned employee [Mr. Subhash Pandey] - in the two writ petitions, have filed applications for withdrawal of the writ petitions on account of a Memorandum of Settlement dated 07.04.2025. It is stated that the amount payable by the School to Mr. Subhash Pandey, [the petitioner in W.P.(C) 15441/2024], has been paid by a cheque. Mr. Arun Garg, learned counsel for the School, assures the Court that the cheque will be honoured upon presentation.

In view of the settlement between the parties, learned counsel on both sides seek permission to withdraw the writ petitions. 4.
The applications are allowed, and the writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn.

It is submitted by Mr. Garg that certain legal questions, with regard to the actions of the Department of Education in the matter, were also raised in the writ petitions by the School. Those questions remain open for adjudication in the appropriate forum.

The next date of hearing, i.e. 21.08.2025 stands cancelled.
