Through the present writ petitions, the Petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs: - "a.
Issue a writ of mandamus or writ of any other nature or order directing the Respondent No. 4 to complete the process of adoption and dispose of the Application for adoption of Baby Aadhya in favour of the Petitioners within one week; and b.
Issue a writ of mandamus or writ of any other nature or order directing the Respondent No. 4 to issue the Adoption Deed to the Petitioners within one week; and c.
Issue a writ of mandamus or writ of any other nature or order directing the Respondents to complete all formalities and ensure issuance of Birth Certificate to Baby Aadhya within a week from grant of the Adoption Deed; and d.
Direct the Respondent No. 3 to procure a Medical Insurance Policy for the Children in the Centre and follow the mandate of Schedule XV, Clause 3(f); and e.
Direct the Respondent No. 1, 2, 5 and 6 to conduct an Audit of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 29/11/2024 at 12:57:11
the Adoption Agencies in the State and ensure compliance of Schedule XV;

Pass any other further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in favour of the Petitioner."

Today, Ms. Mehak Nakra, counsel for Respondents has appraised the Court that Petitioner's application for adoption of Baby Aadhya has been accepted in their favour. She has also handed over a copy of order dated 22nd November, 2024 passed by the Court of District Magistrate (West), GNCTD, to this effect. The said order is directed to be taken on record. 3.
In light of the above development, the primary relief sought by the Petitioner stands redressed.

Ms. Monisha Handa, Petitioner No. 2 in person, prays for relief in terms of prayer 'c', directing Respondent No. 3 to undertake steps for issuance of the birth certificate of Baby Aadhya. Considering that the request of the Petitioners for adoption has been allowed, Respondent No. 3 is directed to apply for the birth certificate within a period of one week from today.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of along with pending application.
