This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs against Delhi Police, New Delhi, which is notified under Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985:

I. Pass appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing the respondents to re-measure the height of the Petitioner from a Govt. Hospital, if considered appropriate after getting a medical board constituted preferably in All India Institute of Medical Sciences; II. Direct the respondents to select the petitioner for the post of SubInspector in Delhi Police if his height is found as per requirements by the Medical Board/Doctors, as notified vide notification dated 04.03.2024; W.P.(C) 15483/2024 Page 1 of 2 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In view of the judgment of the Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court in L. Chandra Kumar v. Union of India and Others, (1997) 3 SCC 261 as well as the decision of the Division Bench of this Court in Parikshit Grewal and Others v. Union of India and Another, 2024 SCC OnLine Del 6939, the Central Administrative Tribunal will be the only Court of first instance to adjudicate the issues raised by the Petitioner. 5.

At this stage, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner seeks to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate forum.
