This is a petition filed under section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ('BNSS'), seeking release of the petitioner on interim bail from 11.11.2024 to 27.12.2024 in FIR No. 251/2024 registered under sections 103(1)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 ('BNS') registered at P.S. K.N. Katju Marg.

It is stated that the petitioner needs to prepare and appear in the forthcoming internal and end term examination of his graduation course (5th semester) i.e., B.B.A L.L.B which are scheduled between 12.11.2024 to 26.12.2024.

However, Mr. Panwar, learned counsel for the petitioner during arguments states that there is a change in the date sheet of the exams scheduled and therefore, he seeks interim bail from 11.11.2024 to The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In the present case, the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner had accompanied some people who stabbed one, namely, Mr. Shakti to death.

After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner only restricts his prayer to the extent that the petitioner shall be permitted to go to the examination centre and appear for his exams on the dates when the exams are scheduled.

Mr. Gadi, learned counsel appears for the complainant and has no objection to the said prayer being allowed, however learned counsel states that the petitioner may be accompanied by a police constable. 7.

In this view of the matter, it is directed that the petitioner will be permitted to take his 5th semester exams of his graduation course i.e. B.B.A. LLB scheduled between 12.11.2024 to 30.12.2024 and will be accompanied by a police constable from jail to the examination centre and on completion of the exam, from the examination centre, back to the jail. 8.

The dates of the exam will be communicated by the petitioner to the Jail Superintendent, Tihar Jail who will thereafter, make the necessary arrangements for the petitioner to enable him to take the exams. 9.

Order be also communicated through special messenger today itself. 10.

With these directions, the petition is disposed of. 11.
