CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN MONGA
O R D E R
% 13.10.2025 1.
The applicant herein, having remained under incarceration for approximately 4 years 3 months in a criminal case arising out of FIR No. 267/2021 dated 25.06.2021, for the offence under Section 302 IPC read with Section 27 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station K.N. Katju Marg, seeks interim bail for a period of 20 days in lieu of attending the Kuan Pujan ceremony of his grandson.
2.
At the outset, on a Court query, the learned APP for the State would fairly submit under instructions from the I.O. that upon verification it has been found that Kuan Pujan of the grandson of the applicant has been fixed for 25th October, 2025.

3.
Given the past conduct of the applicant, having been enlarged on interim bail as many as 12 times and having surrendered each time in compliance with the terms and conditions imposed, I am of the view that there is no likelihood of him absconding if granted interim bail again as he has deep roots in society. Moreover, as per the Nominal Roll of the applicant dated 12.10.2025, he has maintained an overall satisfactory conduct in jail and has no prior criminal antecedents.
4.
In view thereof, the present application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on interim bail for a period of one week commencing from 19.10.2025 till 26.10.2025 subject to him furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court and subject to the usual conditions to be imposed by the learned Trial Judge/Duty Judge, as the case may be.
5.
Accordingly, the instant interim bail application, along with any pending application(s), stands disposed of.
