This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.340/2024 registered at PS Lajpat Nagar, Delhi under Sections 281/125(a) BNS, based on settlement dated 19th September 2024, arrived at, between the parties, which is on record of this Court.

Petitioner is present in the Court, duly identified by IO while respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present through VC, along with their counsel, and are duly identified by him.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3, state through their counsels, that they have received the money under settlement and have no objection to quashing of FIR. This fact is confirmed by Mr. Ashish, Advocate present on their behalf, in the Court.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 340/2024 registered at PS Lajpat Nagar, Delhi under Sections 281/125 (A) BNS and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 6.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
