This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal to make and publish the Award. 2.

Ms. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that on account of some inadvertent adjournments, the award could not be published. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice to the respondent. 4.

Ms. Sahay, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 6.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 6 months from today. 7.
