By the present petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 397/2025 dated 05.08.2025, registered at Police Station Badarpur, for offence under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner essentially apprehends coercive action by the State. 3.

The Investigating Officer is present in Court today. 4.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that the FIR was recently registered on 05.08.2025 and is at preliminary stage of investigation.

She, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, submits that no coercive steps are proposed against the petitioner at this stage on her cooperating with the investigation, and in case The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. any coercive steps are proposed, an appropriate notice will be given to the petitioner.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw the present petition and file appropriate proceedings at later stage.

Needless to state that the petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum in case any grievance remains in future. 8.
