The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent/Delhi Jal Board (DJB), to ensure prompt and sufficient supply of clean water to all the residents of D Block, Tigri Extension, South Delhi - 110062.

Status report has been filed on behalf of the respondent/DJB. 3.

effective steps to ensure that sufficient amount of clean water is supplied to the inhabitants of D Block, Tigri Extension.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent/DJB to ensure that sufficient amount of clean water is supplied to the inhabitants of D Block, Tigri Extension in an expeditious manner and not later than two (2) weeks from today. 5.
Till the time sufficient water supply is provided to the petitioner through the pipeline, the respondent/DJB shall continue to provide water tankers as per the request of the petitioners. 6.
In the event the petitioners do not get supply of sufficient amount of clean water in terms of the order passed today, liberty is given to the petitioners to approach this Court.
