O R D E R

% 12.12.2017 Respondent no.2-Smt. Monika Singh is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Sunder Prakash of CAW East. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no. 1 before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 13th January, 2016 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that her marriage with the petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved on 4th October, 2016 by a decree of divorce by mutual consent passed by the Family Court, North District, Rohini Court, Delhi. Petitioner no.1 has paid `2.5 lacs to the respondent no.2 today in Court by way of two demand drafts, photocopies whereof have been placed on record.

Respondent no.2 submits that entire settled amount of `8 lacs stands paid

with this payment and she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against all the petitioners.

Keeping in mind that marriage between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent, inasmuch as, entire settled amount stands paid and respondent no.2 has no objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 163/2014 under Sections 498A/506/494/34 IPC registered at police station New Ashok Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
