For the grounds and reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and the delay of 19 days in filing the rectification application, is condoned.

CRL.M.A. 38008/2025 (seeking rectification of order dated 28th October, 2025) 3.
The above-captioned petition was disposed of by order dated 28th October, 2025, whereby FIR No. 739/2023, registered at P.S. Okhla Industrial Area under Sections 323/452/354B/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, was quashed on the basis of a compromise between the parties. Considering that the State machinery had been set in motion pursuant to the said FIR, the accused Petitioners were directed to deposit costs of ₹3,000/- each with the Delhi Police Welfare Fund.

By the present application, the Petitioners seek rectification of the aforesaid order, praying for reduction of the costs from ₹3,000/- each to ₹1,000/- each.

This Court finds no error in the earlier direction requiring the Petitioners to deposit costs of ₹3,000/- each. Having regard to the allegations levelled in the subject FIR, the nature of the offences alleged, and the fact that the State machinery was invoked, the ends of justice are adequately served by the said direction.

Accordingly, no ground is made out for rectification of the order dated 28th October, 2025. The Petitioners are directed to comply with the same and deposit costs of ₹3,000/- each with the Delhi Police Welfare Fund within a period of ten days from today. Proof of deposit be furnished to the concerned Investigating Officer.
