After some hearing, on instructions of petitioner No. 1, Dr. Amit George, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition, with liberty to the petitioners to take alternative remedies in respect of the demolition order dated 04.09.2023 and order dated 11.05.2023, by which their application for regularisation of their premises was rejected.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as aforesaid.

All rights and contentions of the parties on maintainability and merits are left open for consideration of the appropriate forum. 4.

In order to enable the petitioners to assail the aforesaid orders in accordance with law, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is directed not to take further steps pursuant to the impugned vacation notice dated 28.10.2024, against the petitioners for a period of 10 days from today. 5.

Dr. George, on instructions, undertakes on behalf of the petitioners that they will also maintain status quo with regard to the subject premises.
