This application has been moved on behalf of the petitioner for modification of order dated 12th December, 2024 by which petitioner was granted furlough for a period of two weeks on furnishing personal bond of Rs.10,000/- along with surety of the like amount. 2.

Petitioner states that he belongs to the underprivileged strata of society and due to long incarceration of more than eight years, is unable to arrange for a surety. Petitioner's family consists of his wife and three minor children who reside at their native village being village & P.O. Kakan, District Jamui, P.S. Jamui, Bihar. released on furlough on personal bond of Rs.10,000/- and a cash surety of Rs.10,000/-. He adverts to order dated 16th April, 2024 passed in W.P.(CRL) 2646/2023, by which this Court, in an application relating to a previous furlough, had allowed the same and permitted the petitioner to deposit cash surety.

Accordingly, the present application is allowed. 4.

The order dated 12th December, 2024 is modified to the extent that the petitioner be released on furlough for two weeks from the date of the release on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- and cash surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent. 5.

As per paragraph 5(b) of order dated 12th December, 2024, the petitioner shall report to the SHO of P.S. Jamui, Bihar once a week on every Sunday between 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, during the period of furlough. The other conditions in the order shall remain the same. 6.

Application is disposed of with the above directions. 7.

Copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for information. 8.
