This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of 9 months to make and publish the final Award.

Ms. Alikadli, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the delay occurred on account of adjournments sought by the parties. 3.
For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Goel, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.
I am satisfied that a sufficient cause has been shown for the delay. In view of the aforesaid, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended upto 9 months from today to conclude the arbitration proceedings. 6.
The period from 16.08.2025 till today stands regularized. 7.
