The present petitions have been filed by the petitioners assailing the order dated 24.07.2025 passed by the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission ('NCDRC'). By way of the said order, directions have been issued for their appearance on the next date of hearing 15.10.2025.

Mr. Anupam Srivastav, learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the order passed by the NCDRC is without jurisdiction. It is vehemently submitted that the petitioners cannot be brought within the fold of the execution proceedings inasmuch as they had resigned as directors of the concerned company much prior to the issuance of the order dated 24.07.2025.

It is noticed that in the context of the directors of the concerned company at the relevant time, the NCDRC has clarified that the issue of their liability shall be taken into account after affording an opportunity of hearing and considering the relevant case law/legal position. 4.
Needless to say, the petitioners would also be at liberty to raise appropriate contentions and to cite the relevant legal position in support of their case that they cannot be made parties to the pending execution proceedings.

In the circumstances, at this stage, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned order / directions issued by the NCDRC. 6.
Accordingly, the present petitions are disposed of, while granting liberty to raise appropriate pleas before the NCDRC. Pending applications also stand disposed of.
