By way of the present application, the applicant seeks regular bail in connection with FIR No. 127/2024 dated 10.03.2024, registered at Police Station Seelampur, District North East, Delhi, under Sections 302/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act, 1959.

Further to the order dated 06.04.2026, the Deputy Commissioner of Police ["DCP"], North East, Delhi, is present through video conference and submits that action has been initiated against the concerned Investigating Officer for non-compliance with the directions of this Court. It is further submitted that the DCP (Litigation) has issued necessary directions to all Investigating Officers to ensure timely intimation to the complainant/victim/family members of the victim in accordance with the directions of this Court. As far as the present case is concerned, intimation to the mother of the victim has been placed on record, as well as her statement, recording that she does not wish to participate in the proceedings. 4.

After some arguments, Mr. W.A. Ansari, learned counsel for the applicant, seeks permission to withdraw this bail application; however, he seeks a direction for expeditious conclusion of the proceedings before the Trial Court.

I am informed that 21 witnesses have already been examined. Although 41 witnesses were named in the chargesheet, Mr. Ansari states that some of the witnesses have, in fact, been dropped. However, the Investigating Officer, who is present in Court, is not aware of the position.

Be that as it may, the Trial Court is requested to consider the applicant's request for expedition in accordance with its Board and the age of matters pending before it. Mr. Yudhvir Singh Chauhan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, states that the prosecution will also co-operate in this process.

The bail application is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions.

It is clarified that this Court has not made any observation on the merits of the case, and all rights and contentions of the parties in any future application are left open.
