This is a petition filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of 6 months to make and pass the final Award.

It is stated that the matter is at the stage of final arguments and hence, the delay.

For the said reasons, issue notice to the respondent. 4.

Ms. Sharma, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. In view of the aforesaid, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 6 months from today. 6.

The period from 30.09.2025 till today stands regularised. 7.

The petition is disposed of.
