The present proceedings are instituted on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 0291/2022 registered under Sections 341/326/34 IPC at Police Station Jamia Nagar, New Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.
As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioners gave beatings to the respondent Nos. 2 to 4, causing them multiple injuries. 3.
Mr. Nawal Kishore Jha, learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent Nos.2 to 4 is the complainant/victims in the present case. He further submits that the chargesheet has been filed in the present case. He also states that though the parties have compromised, some costs may be imposed on the petitioners considering the serious nature of the averments/allegations and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners and respondent Nos. 2 to 4 are neighbours and the present FIR was registered due to a misunderstanding and with the intervention of family members and friends, the parties have amicably settled their disputes. Pursuant to the settlement, no objection certificates of the respondent Nos. 2 to 4 are placed on record. In terms of the said settlement, respondent Nos. 2 to 4 are now left with no claims or grievances against the petitioners. 5.
The petitioners, who are present in Court, have been identified by their counsel as well as the I.O./ SI Akashdeep PS Jamia Nagar, New Delhi. Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 are also present in Court and have been identified by the I.O.

The petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and undertake not to repeat the same in future. Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 also state that they have entered into the settlement out of their own free will, volition and without any coercion. They further state that they have no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed. 7.
The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed, subject to payment of cost of Rs.2,500/- to be deposited by each of the petitioners with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority(Account No.18580110053263, UCO Bank, Branch Rouse Avenue, IFSC:

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of alongwith miscellaneous application.
