The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the impugned assessment bills for theft of electricity amounting to Rs.2,28,675/- against K No. 1140 4350 3205 and Rs.1,86,876/- against K No. 1140 4350 3447 respectively, installed at the petitioner's premises bearing no. 11A/39 WEA Karol Bagh, New Delhi.

The matter was amicably settled in pre sitting Lok Adalat on 21.08.2018. The terms of the settlement reads as under:- "After comprehensive discussions, the subject matter of this writ petition is amicably resolved and it is agreed by the parties that in respect of the assessment bill bearing K. No. 1140 4350 3205 amounting to
Rs.2,28,675/-, the full and final amount has been settled as Rs.1,10,000/-. And in respect of assessment bill against K. N. 1140 4350 3447 amounting to Rs.1,86,876/-, the full and final amount has been settled as to Rs.90,000/-.
It is agreed between the parties after adjustment of Rs.75,000/- each deposited against both K Nos., against K. No. 1140 4350 3205, the petitioner shall pay further sum of Rs.35,000/- to the respondent in addition to the amount already deposited by petitioner in terms of the interim order. It is further agreed that against K. N. 1140 4350 3447, the petitioner shall pay Rs.15,000/- to the respondent in addition to the amount already deposited in terms of the interim order. It is pointed out by the counsel for the petitioner that sum of Rs.75,000/- each directed to be deposited in terms of interim order, was deposited directly with the respondent."

Against the settlement of the Assessment Bill bearing no. K.No. 1140 4350 3205 (Case ID: YM230307D0401) amounting to Rs.1,10,000/-, the petitioner shall pay further sum of Rs.35,000/- to the respondent in addition to the amount of Rs.75,000/- already deposited by the petitioner pursuant to the orders of this Court. 4.
Against the settlement of the Assessment Bill bearing no. K.No. 1140 4350 3447 (Case ID: YM230307D0402) amounting to Rs.90,000/-, the petitioner shall pay further sum of Rs.15,000/- to the respondent in addition to the amount of Rs.75,000/- already deposited by the petitioner pursuant to the orders of this Court. 5.
The petitioner shall pay the above mentioned sum with the respondent within 15 days from today by Demand Draft, failing which same shall
carry interest @ 7.5% per annum.

The parties shall remain bound by the terms and conditions of the settlement.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.

Copy of the order be given dasti under the signatures of the court Master.
