Present petition has been filed challenging the result of the election dated 14th October, 2024 of respondent no.2/Delhi Nagrik Sehkari Bank Ltd. as declared by the respondent no.15/returning officer of the bank, whereby respondent nos.3 to 14 have been declared elected for various official posts of the bank.

Admittedly, the petitioners have not availed the statutory remedy as provided under Section 70 of the Delhi Cooperative Societies Act by referring the dispute to the Registrar.

Consequently, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to avail the alternative remedy. In the event such a remedy is availed, the Registrar Cooperative Society is directed to decide the same as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
