O R D E R

% 17.04.2018 By this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioner has prayed for quashing of FIR No. 599/2004 under Sections 406/420/468/471 IPC registered at police station Pahar Ganj on the complaint of respondent no.2, in view of the settlement arrived at before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi on 11th May, 2016.

Counsel for the respondent no.2-ICICI Bank submits that he has taken instructions from the respondent no.2 to convey to this Court that matter has now been settled between the petitioner and respondent no.2 amicably, inasmuch as, settled amount of `7.15 lacs has been paid by the petitioner to respondent no.2. Accordingly, respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the criminal proceedings against the petitioner and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 before the Mediation Centre voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
