% 17.11.2016 We have seen the affidavit filed on behalf of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) dated 28.09.2016. It is evident that there was some error on the part of the AIIMS with regard to the manner in which the appointments were made.

However, we make it clear that since the incumbents have been in office and they have been satisfactorily carrying out their activities, there is no reason to disturb their appointments. The AIIMS also indicated that in future the course of action, which has been complained in the present proceeding, would not be undertaken. We also expect that the AIIMS will not let such a thing happen in future. The writ petition stands disposed of.
