O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 29/2018 This petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making the Arbitral Award in the arbitration proceedings between the parties before the Sole Arbitrator.

Learned counsel for the respondents appears on an advance notice and submits that the respondents have no objection if the present petition is allowed and time for making the award is extended. Having perused the contents of the petition as well as considering the no objection given by the respondents, time for making of the award by the Sole Arbitrator is extended by a period of six months with effect from today. The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to costs. Dasti.
