This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking enlargement / extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 30 days for making and publishing the Award.

It is stated that the Award has already been passed and the matter is only listed for deciding the application under Section 33 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

The notice was issued vide order dated 14.10.2025. 4.
Ms. Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondent appeared on 10.11.2025 and sought time to seek instructions. She states that she has not received any instructions so far.

I am satisfied that the Award has already been passed and the matter is only listed for clarification. I am also satisfied that a sufficient cause has been shown.

Hence, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for 30 days from today to decide the Section 33 application.
