The present petition has been filed under Section 29A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent on advance notice does not oppose the aforesaid request.

It is submitted on behalf of the parties that the matter is at the stage of final hearing.

Counsel for the parties submit that the mandate is set to expire on 16th October, 2025.

In view of the aforesaid, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a further period of six (6) months from 16th October, 2025. 6.
The petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
