Issue notice. Mr. R. K. Vats, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-Indraprastha Power Generation Company Ltd. ["IPGCL"]. Mr. Gaurav Dhingra, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 4.

The petitioner, who was in service of IPGCL from 1979 until his retirement in the year 2015, seeks re-calculation of his pay in the revised scale of Rs. 37400/- to Rs. 67,000/-, alongwith all consequential benefits, including re-fixation of pay and pension.

It is stated in the petition that the petitioner has made several representations to IPGCL, which have remain unanswered. states, upon instructions, that IPGCL will consider the petitioner's petition as a representation, and deal with his request within a period of six weeks from today.

Having regard to the fact that the claims have not yet been answered, I am of the view that it is appropriate to await an administrative decision at the first instance. 5.

The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with the direction that the writ petition will be treated as a representation, and IPGCL will pass a reasoned order thereupon within a period of six weeks from today. The order will be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter. 6.

The pending application is also disposed of.
