W.P.(CRL) 907/2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 227/2017 under Section 376 IPC registered at PS Rani Bagh on the complaint of respondent No. 2 on the ground that parties have settled the matter and after performing marriage they are living together. The offence under Section 376 IPC being serious in nature, the same cannot be compounded on the ground that parties have subsequently married each other.

Petition is dismissed.
