Learned proxy counsel for learned ASC for State accepts notice. By this petition, the petitioner challenges the communication dated 12th February, 2018 declining grant of parole to the petitioner to re-establish social ties and seeks parole.

A status report has been handed over by learned counsel for the State which is taken on record. As per the status report, the petitioner has been on furlough for a period of two weeks from 26th February, 2018 to 12th March, 2018. Thus the purpose of re-establishing social ties having been fulfilled by the grant of furlough this court finds no ground to interfere in the communication dated 12th February, 2018 or to grant parole to the petitioner.

Petition is dismissed.

Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
