BAIL APPLN. 4101/2024 By way of the present petition filed under section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, the petitioner seeks modification of order dated 06.11.2024, whereby he was granted interim bail for 02 days by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Rohini Courts, Delhi in case FIR No.0743/2020 dated 27.12.2020 registered under sections 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and sections BAIL APPLN. 4101/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 25/27 of the Arms Act, 1959 at P.S.: Bawana, Delhi, on the ground that his sister's wedding is scheduled on 23.11.2024. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that the petitioner is the only brother of the bride-to-be and is required to help in making arrangements and for performing some ceremonies at his sister's wedding.

He further submits that the petitioner's parents are senior citizens and are unable to manage all the affairs of the wedding in the petitioner's absence.

Mr. Tarang Srivastava, learned counsel appears for the State on advance copy; accepts notice; and submits that the learned Sessions Court granted interim bail only for 02 days, i.e., 22.11.2024 and 23.11.2024, because the petitioner is accused of being part of a criminal gang, and therefore, has the propensity of indulging in violence.

Be that as it may, considering the limited prayer made, the application is disposed-of, modifying the period of interim bail granted to the petitioner to 07 days commencing on 19.11.2024, on the same conditions as imposed vide order dated 06.11.2024 by the learned Sessions Court with a further modification that the 02 sureties of Rs.30,000/- each, shall be furnished by family members. 7.
