W.P.(C) 1803/2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondentDirectorate of Education to ensure petitioner's admission in any of the schools selected by the petitioner in her application form. Mr. Khagesh B. Jha, learned counsel for the petitioner states that initially petitioner's father had applied for admission in KG class as there was an upper age limit of four years for admission in Nursery class. Learned counsel for petitioner states that subsequently, the upper age limit was stayed by this Court vide order dated 5th February, 2016 passed in W.P.(C) 962/2016 and all children were given an opportunity to apply for
admission to Nursery class.
Mr. Khagesh B. Jha further states upon such opportunity being given, petitioner's father had applied for admission to nursery class also. He, however, states that the petitioner's applications for admission have been rejected on the ground of multiple online application forms. Keeping in view the aforesaid, respondent-Directorate of Education is directed to ensure that petitioner is admitted in any of the schools selected by the petitioner in the application form, provided seats are available in the said school and the petitioner is entitled for admission in the said School in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid directions, present writ petition stands disposed of. MANMOHAN, J MARCH 01, 2016 rn
