W.P.(C) 1802/2016 & CM APPL. 7754/2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent no. 1 to admit the petitioner under disadvantage group category and provide all entitlements of the abovesaid category. Mr. Khagesh B. Jha, learned counsel for petitioner states that on the date when the petitioner filled her admission form for Nursery class she had applied vide application no. 90510000054739 for caste certificate. He states that subsequently the aforesaid application for caste certificate was rejected on a technical ground. He, however states that upon fresh application no.

90510000069071 being filed, the Revenue Department of Delhi issued to the petitioner a caste certificate dated 17th February, 2016. Mr. Khagesh B. Jha states that respondent no. 1-School has rejected petitioner's application on the ground that application number on the caste certificate now furnished by the petitioner is different from the one mentioned in the online application form for admission to KG class. Keeping in view the aforesaid as well as the fact that the petitioner had initially been allotted respondent no. 1-School by respondent no. 2, this Court directs respondent no. 1-School to grant admission to the petitioner in the event a seat is vacant in the said category. With the aforesaid directions, present writ petition and application stand disposed of.
