% 18.07.2016 CM Appls. 25032-25034/2016 Present contempt petition has been filed with the following prayers:- "a) Initiate appropriate proceeding against the respondents/contemnors under Article 215 of the Constitution of India read with Section 10 and 11 of Contempt of Court Act, 1971 for their wilful and deliberate violation of the order dated 12.09.2012 and order dated 19.02.2013 passed by this Hon'ble Court in Writ Petition No.5667/2012 jointly and severally besides violation of respondent's undertaking dated 28.04.2012 before the Hon'ble Supreme Court and order dated 09.09.2013 passed by this Hon'ble Supreme Court in C.A. No.451-452 of 2002 being made applicable to I.As filed in Writ petition
No.1699/1987; and"
b) Pass such other and further order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper in the interest of Justice. After filing of the present contempt petition, the Division Bench while disposing of LPA 136/2016 has given binding directions and has interpreted the Street Vendor (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 as well as rules framed thereunder. Consequently, present contempt petition and applications have become infructuous and are accordingly dismissed. The next date of hearing is cancelled.
In the event, petitioner is of the view that the Division Bench's orders are not being complied with, petitioner is given liberty to file appropriate proceedings in accordance with law.
