% 20.04.2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to look after his ailing mother, reconnect family relations and re-establish social ties; and also challenges the communication dated 20th December, 2017 rejecting the application of the petitioner for grant of parole. A Status Report has been filed. As per the Status Report, though the factum of ailment of the mother of the petitioner could not be verified, however, it has been revealed that the family of the petitioner comprising of his parents and younger brother is residing at Flat No.19-G, M.S.Block, Rana ji Enclave, Najafgarh. As per the Nominal Roll, the petitioner was granted parole only once for a period of one month w.e.f. 29.12.2016. There W.P.(CRL) 1009/2018

is no allegation that when the petitioner was earlier released on parole he misused the concession granted to him. Considering the facts verified, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Mandoli Jail. Petition is disposed of.

A copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Mandoli Jail.
