Petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as 'B.N.S.S.') (under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973), has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners, for quashing of the FIR No. 0789/2021 dated 18.12.2021 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2023, registered at Police Station Mayur Vihar, Phase-I, Delhi and its proceedings pending in the Court of learned ASJ (Electricity), East District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi as the Petitioners and Respondent No. 2 have amicably settled their disputes. 2.

On the Complaint of the Respondent No.2/Complainant, FIR No. 0789/2021 dated 18.12.2021 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2023, got registered at Police Station Mayur Vihar, Phase-I, Delhi. 5.

It is submitted that during the pendency of the litigation, the dispute got settled between the parties and as per the Agreement dated 13.04.2024, the Petitioner has paid the agreed settlement amount of Rs.40,100/- to the Respondent No. 2. No Dues Letter dated 22.08.2025 has also been issued by the Respondent No. 2 to the Petitioner. It is, therefore, submitted that the present FIR be quashed.

The parties are present before this Court in-person today, and have been identified by their Counsel and Investigating Officer concerned and they have entered into the Settlement voluntarily and without any fear and coercion.

Learned counsel for the Respondent No. 2, who has appeared on advance Notice, endorses the Settlement and states that he has no objection to the quashing of the said FIR.

In view of the submissions made and considering that the Settlement has been made voluntarily without coercion, the FIR No.0789/2021 dated 18.12.2021 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2023, registered at Police Station Mayur Vihar, Phase-I, Delhi and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, 9.

The Petition is disposed of accordingly. Pending Application, if any, also stands disposed of.
