This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to Respondent No.2 for issuing them appointment-cum-posting orders to the post of PGT (Geography) pursuant to a notification issued by NESTS for filling up 4062 vacancies of teaching and non-teaching posts, out of which 154 posts were advertised for the post of PGT (Geography) with which this writ petition is concerned.

Learned counsel for Respondent No.2/NESTS submits that appointment-cum-posting letter shall be issued to the Petitioners within a period of four weeks from today.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for Respondent No.2/NESTS, learned counsel for the Petitioners, on instructions seeks to withdraw this writ petition.
