A Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner seeking quashing of FIR No.62/2018 under Section 354/354D/506/509 IPC registered at Police Station Swaroop Nagar, Delhi. 2.
The facts as stated in the FIR are that the Complaint is working as Guest Teacher in a school at Burari and on 19.02.2018 when she was returning home from school at about 01:30 P.M. When the Complainant reached the corner of Gali the Petitioner who was already stand there continuously stared and started following her. When the Complainant was at a short distance to her house, the Petitioner forcefully hold her hand and pulled her on which the Complainant started shouting. and Petitioner abused and threatened them and told not to make a Complaint to the Police otherwise he would kill the Complainant. The Petitioner thereafter ran away from the spot. The matter was reported to the Police and on the Complaint of the Complainant/Respondent No.2, the present FIR No.62/2018 under Section 354/354D/506/509 IPC was registered at Police Station Swaroop Nagar against the Petitioner herein. 3.
It is submitted that both the petitioners and respondent No. 2 have already sorted out their all differences with the intervention of their respective persons of the vicinity vide MOU dated 25.08.2025 and they have left no grudge or grievance against each other in any manner whatsoever. Therefore, the Petition be quashed.

The Complainant has appeared through Video Conferencing and is identified by the I.O. The Complainant submits that they were neighbours when the Petitioner had held her and had abused her resulting in the present FIR. She has now got married and is settled and is away from Delhi. The Complainant submits that the matter stands settled with the Petitioner who has filed the present Petition. The parties endorse the terms of the Settlement and undertake to abide by the terms of the Settlement dated 25.08.2025. It is also submitted that the Settlement has been arrived between them without any pressure, force or coercion. The Complainant has no objection if the FIR is quashed against the petitioners as well as other accused persons on account of the settlement already arrived at between the parties.

The parties are present before this Court in-person today, and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer concerned. In view of the submissions made, the Petition is allowed. Accordingly, the FIR bearing No. 62/2018 registered at Police Station Swaroop Nagar, for offences punishable under Sections 354/354D/506/509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 with all the subsequent proceedings and the charge sheet is hereby quashed qua the Petitioner. 7.
