This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for promotion, under the Dynamic Assured Career Progression Scheme, to the rank of Second-in-Command/Chief Veterinary Officer with effect from 07.12.2022 along with all consequential benefits. 2.

This Court vide its Order dated 18.11.2024, recording the submissions of the petitioner had directed the learned counsel for the respondents to seek instructions.

The learned counsel for the respondents today handed over a communication dated 22.11.2024, which inter alia states that the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) with respect to the petitioner were kept in a sealed cover, which has The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. now been opened and the recommendations have now been sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs on 22.11.2024, for approval of the Competent Authority. It further records that, on receiving the approval of the Competent Authority, further action with regard to the grant of promotion to the petitioner will be taken.

In view of the above stand of the learned counsel for the respondents, no further direction is required to be passed in the present petition.

Needless to state that, if the petitioner is aggrieved by any decision taken by the Competent Authority, it shall be open to the petitioner to challenge the same in accordance with the law. 6.
