CM (M) 272/2016 Leaned counsel for the petitioner submits that divorce petition was filed by the petitioner in the month of October, 2014 and since then five attempts have already been made to serve the respondent but service has yet not been effected.
It is further submitted that respondent is living in London. However, her parents are living in Madhya Pradesh and petitioner visits them quite often. Learned counsel further submits that notices sent to the respondent at London address have not been received back even once.
Notices were sent through the Ministry of External Affairs, registered post as well as speed post but same could not be effected till now. Petitioner submits that he may be permitted to send the summons/notices to the respondent through courier service as well.
The matter is listed before the Family Court for 5th April, 2016. Accordingly, it is ordered that Family Court may order for issuance of summons/notices by way of courier service like DHL, FedEx, Blue Dart etc. besides other modes of service.
