The present petition has been filed under Section 29A(4) and 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent on advance notice does not oppose the aforesaid request.

It is submitted by counsel for the petitioner that the Award has been reserved in the arbitration proceedings.

In view of the above, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a further period of two (2) months from today. 5.

Counsel for the parties submit that the mandate had otherwise expired on 6th October, 2025.
