This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 12 months to make and publish the Award. 2.

Mr. Sibbal, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the delay occurred on account of the stay granted by the High Court. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Garg, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 6.

Keeping all the rights of the respondents open in the arbitration proceedings and without admitting any of the averments made in the present petition, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 12 months from today. 7.

The period since when the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal expired The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 25/10/2025 at 11:54:40

till today stands regularised.
