The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent no. 1, to take action against the illegal and unauthorized construction, raised by respondent no. 2 in the property bearing House No. 20, Abchal Nagar, Chander Vihar, Outer Delhi, Delhi - 110041. 2.

Responding to the present petition, learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 1-Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), submits that requisite action, as required or needed, shall be taken against the unauthorized construction, wherever found, after following the due procedure.

Accordingly, considering the submissions made before this Court, the MCD is bound by the said statement.

The MCD is enjoined upon to take action against the unauthorized construction existing in the property, in accordance with law and after following the due procedure.

Let time bound action be taken by the MCD, expeditiously, preferably, within a period of eight weeks, from today. 6.

In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by any non-action on the part of the MCD, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the Special Task Force ("STF"), as constituted by the Supreme Court, in terms of the orders passed by the Division Bench of this Court in the case of Devender Versus Govt. of NCT of Delhi and Ors., in W.P.(C) 1807/2018 and Fazruddin Versus DDA and Ors. in W.P.(C) 4649/2017.

Likewise, in case, the respondent no. 2 is aggrieved by any action taken on behalf of the MCD, the right of respondent no. 2 to seek his remedies, in accordance with law, is reserved. 8.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition, along with the pending applications, is accordingly disposed of.
